Major concerns about Aspas ... everything just seems to be passing him by, he's almost scared of the ball. He's taking the easy options and hiding. Sakho is just plain mental and what Sakho wants, Sakho does.

I'd have taken ten points from four, so happy in that sense ... for my own health, I'd just appreciate a comfortable win.

Interesting theory. I'm sure there will be a gif at some point.

Questions need to be asked about our poor 2nd half performances this season. It's a big concern for me.

Still top and a hard earned probably lucky point.

If only Aspas had shifted the ball right, he was in with a shot or would've won a penalty for sure.

This is a game we would've lost last year so that's a positive.

              Very disappointing second half.
IMO the Gerrard/Lucas axis is the problem, they've not got the legs - opposing teams are dominating the possession and passing around them too easily.

Don't get me started on that wimp Aspas, proper ****s it when a tackle comes in.

              On the plus side:
              Sturridge
              Top of the league
              Undeafeated
              We come not to play.

Not an ideal game to be missing Agger & Glen. Really under the cosh at times there. At 2-1 we have to be finishing that game off though.

But in fairness to Swansea, when they pushed up on us we couldn't cope, they are very good at passing it about and we ran out of steam pressing them. One of those games where we should have dropped a little and saved energy.

And aspas....I said early on I'd be pleased if he was anywhere near baros's level, he looks a million miles away from that standard

That was more of the same really. I was at the scum game and it was tough to watch. Every time the ball went near aspas it was gone. Same again today. Something has to change with him. He has been terrible.

Our ball retention this season has been shocking. Don't know what's happened. 10 points isn't bad but anyone who can't see the problems with the way we are playing are kidding themselves.

I've seen nothing in Aspas. Really needs to find some man strength and quickly.

Still, I reckon Swansea will win plenty of games at home so it is a point gained for me.

Werent poor in the second half v Stoke, we werent poor second half v Man Utd so twice it's happened. Once where Coutinho went off, Suarez already missing and once where we were so short we had to put Aly Cissokho at left wing. Think people are going madly overboard with this second half stuff.

Don't know what to make of that at all, lucky they made the errors i guess.

Anyway, we have a run of decent fixtures now so we need to improve and take the points as they could be vital.

Well that was a tough game in the end and we came away with a point which we'd not have done in the previous 4 seasons. The back four being changed so much from the start of the season didn't help and losing Coutinho also hurt us.

Happy to see after 4 games we're top of the league, unbeaten with 10 points

Haven't watched too much footy this year. Any, in fact.

What strikes me is that Brendan has lost a lot of weight and that Carra is quite the thesp; he's speaking more slowly and even pronouncing his 'h's. Some good arm waving going on too.

This is all a bit of a shock to me. Plus the fact that we've got a new goaly who's name currently escapes me. I like him though.

First half we looked good. Second half we looked ****e. Completely.

                                MOTM JJS naturallement!
