I'm hoping Carragher and Neville can come up with a reason for why we are so bad in the 2nd half of games because I just can't get my head around it at all. Stoke, Villa, United and Swansea, all playing a different style and the same thing happens, so by my logic it must be something that we're doing.

Is it that Sturridge is not fit and in the 2nd half his movement drops and we have no outlet? When we have the ball our options are 1 player or nobody and if we make that pass its the same again for the player receiving the ball. Are the midfield dropping too deep? Gerrard trying too many long unsuccessful passes, Lucas not winning the ball as high up the pitch as he was in the first half? Not closing down in 2's and 3's? Suggests tiredness to me.

A draw away to Swansea is a good result but again we hung on for a result and eventually that will catch up on us, we don't look great by and stretch at the minute.

    Positives..

Moses played well in the first half
    Another Sturridge goal
Mignolet played well, as did Skrtel

    Negatives..

The 2nd half.. We were dominated again
    Sakho looked shaky
Wisdom is not now and never will be good enough for our first team

Oh and I never want to see Toure at right back again. Pissed/**** myself when he passed it backwards, to himself

FWIW I think Aspas showed up well until tonight. He needs a goal and there have been times in our previous games when he's got into good positions to get one but Studge hasn't given him the ball. Way to early to be writing him off IMO.

            He can't play every game.

Regarding tonight's game - incredibly poor second half. Skrtel and Agger have to be our first choice centre back partnership, this season.
            Another MASSIVE game

Aspas is the new Downing.....****in ****e

We looked knackered in the 2nd half

Hoping that Suarez comes back in with a good attitude

We all have opinions. Just a shame you are wildly off the mark when it comes to Aspas's talent

That could have been worse. Sakho looks like a bit of a clumsy oaf but then I remember Skrtel against Havert and Waterloo so you never know.

Only one more league game till Suarez time
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Williams definitely left his foot in, and high. Whether it was the cause of the injury or not is unlikely - probably due to the way he fell - but if was a terrible challenge where he went for the man.

Suarez. We're not a one man team, as having 10 points from 4 games shows, but he adds a completely different dimension to our play with the ball, a real outlet who can just do something magical. Gerrard isn't quite that player any more and without Coutinho firing, when teams manage to establish themselves in games against us (ie in the second half) we lack that ability to just make something out of nothing against the run of play.

Swansea are decent though and in the grander scheme of things that result is fine. We're showing enough in patches in games to think that when Luis is back and matchfit we can go on to have a pretty good season. We probably are still one or two class players short of being really good, but that's nothing we didn't already know.

Bizarre how 'worried' people are about a player after his first competitive game both for us and in 6 months

Not sure enough time has elapsed for Aspas to be labelled a flop too

Also, scrolling through half an entire threads worth of **** to read the match thread whilst on your phone is not something I'm keen to repeat

Harsh, he was very complimentary about Liverpool. He might not have been good enough for us but he was good enough to admit that he loved every minute of playing for us.
