It's going to be interesting when we get back to a fully fit side i.e. Coutinho and Johnson in particular being available again what our first 11 and the formation will be.

I can't wait and think it will almost pick itself. Three selection dilemmas IMO:Originally posted by rcasemore View PostIt's going to be interesting when we get back to a fully fit side i.e. Coutinho and Johnson in particular being available again what our first 11 and the formation will be.
-----------------------Mignolet----------
--------Toure-------Skrtel/Agger----Sakho-----
Johnson-----Lucas/Henderson---Gerrard------Enrique/Cissokho
------------------------Coutinho---------------------------
----------------Sturridge---------Suarez----------
Allen will be back too, so our bench options will be something like this:
Jones, Wisdom, Kelly, Ilori, Skrtel or Agger, Enrique or Cissokho, Lucas or Henderson, Allen, Moses, Luis Alberto, Sterling, Ibe, Aspas
That's 13 going for 7 spots on the bench. With everyone fit, six of the above are gonna be disappointed. Decent depth. Obviously need to improve some of the quality and add another CM, but that's pretty decent I reckon. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I think you're probably right with the 3 at the back and wing backs.
I was trying to think how we get Coutinho, Moses, Suarez and Sturridge all in and I don't think you can.
Looks a strong squad on paper doesn't it + the likes of Suso getting some proper game time in Spain.
As mentioned in another thread think we could do with a bit more in midfield but fancy we'd need to move one or two on to get them in.

very encouraging looking at that
- and it looks like the 3-5-2 seems to suit us more.
we probably lack a little bit of quality in depth to have real push - but with the lack of european football and only the FA cup as potential extra games, then if we keep the starting XI fit we have every chance of getting back top four.
ideal world would be nice to be in the mix come January, keep every we have currently and then add a top signing to give us a boost/lift and extra quality for a real push for the 2nd half of the season.
Looking at it - if we can keep everyone we have including making Cissokho/Moses permenant signings and then add
decent back keeper
a top centre mid
another top attacking threat that gives us width/goals
we'd be there or thereaboutsi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

just get through the internationals injury free, get a win against Newcastle/WBA and we should be going into the Arsenal game at full strength and flying.
not too much to ask
