You can't take these games in isolation. Yes, it was crap, but it's how we respond that matters. The beauty of the premiership is that every team can beat every other team on their day. United lost to Norwich last year. You just can't make a habit of these **** performances and results or you end up in mediocrity, as we were last year.

Oh, and it's the Sunderland game that matters in that regard, not Wednesday. United away in the cup will always be a coin-toss game with lots of passion and effort. What matters more (in terms of squad development, obviously cup games are important in themselves) is that we go and get a result against Sunderland to put us back on track in the league.

the defensive line up was ****.

        the midfield balance was ****.

the support to the front men was ****.

some of the choices bay the manager were ****.

we will regroup and go again, etc... **** it, move on

hopefully brendan can micro analyse our shortcomings and do better in future.

oh, we are also getting a 50m+ striker back.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Saturday was a disaster on every level from the manager to the players, it happens. I'd be more angry than I am if we hadn't been so unlucky with injuries recently plus we've been without our best player so far this season. A convincing win against Sunderland will hopefully put Saturday's loss into perspective.
