Also I do like Sterling but that's at least 3 substitute appearances for Sterling now and he's made very little impact in each, and I specifically remember him almost costing us the 3 points against United at home. I'd like to see Ibe given a chance. Teams will obviously be aware of him, but I can't imagine any RB wanting him running at them on 70+ minutes.

We've been quite poor all season but got the early results but with no Coutinho we look at a bit of a loss when attacking.

        I agree with Kenneth.
        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

          Carra really doesn't like Enrique.

              Carragher talking the truth.
Theres no positives, we lost to Utd and out of the cup.
              We come not to play.

I seem to remember Stevie G was slow out of the blocks last season too but was brilliant for the most part. And Sakho has shown more than enough for me to think there's a real player in there. The two lads up front are off the pace at the moment and we are missing Coutinho's guile but there was plenty shown tonight to not be too despondent.

They won in the cup,we got 3 points in the league,I know which one I'd rather.

Rode our luck alright. Bad luck with injuries in key areas. United were posy tonight but they got a spawny win... sounds all too familiar.

Gutted tonight as i thought United were there for the taking. No doubt when Suarez & Sturrdieg are match fit, Coutinho,Johnson & Agger back we will be a far superior side... still stings though.

We were so unlucky to lose there but there is am issue with goals this year that hopefully be sorted now Suarez is back.

                      We missed big Phil tonight.

Cant decide if Mig is a drama queen and makes his saves look better than they are. He has been pretty good though. Not missing Reina as much as I thought.

How long before Cissokho comes back?

Doesn't matter if its the league cup or the league. A loss to united ****ing hurts. With no European football we needed a good run in the cups.

                            Gutted.

Enrique needs binning off when Cissokho is back. Time and time again he let his man go from corners tonight and it cost us.

Against a lesser side we would have scored tonight we looked so much better with Luis back, also need to remember that we haven't won at OT in 4 and a half years, I'm confident we'll score a couple on Sunday.
