Unless we're playing a flat back 4 with Toure or Skrtel at RB I'd imagine that to be the formation

I must be in a minority. I thought he did ok when he came on last week. Broke up a few attacks and relieved some pressure. Won a couple free kicks too. Provided an outlet

****ing hope we win today. ****ting myself at thought of this game, but I really should not be. If we dont score in openin 20 mins I fancy a long old afternoon

Why not four at the back, Sterling right wing and Moses on the left?
                        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

At least he won't be posed many questions defensively at home against Palace. If it was any other game I'd be worried.

Sterling should provide a great out ball for us, he's very quick and we can use him to get at the Palace team I think.

Yeah I think he has been alright this season certainly not as bad as some have made out and if he does play RWB its because Rodgers thinks/knows he can do the job.

Sterling at RWB is clearly the best choice without Glen & Kelly. Was fantastic in the role previously. Granted, against a double tandem the top teams can offer someone like Toure would be the way to go. Otherwise, it's a great idea.

Two ways you can play 3 at the back. As a 5 with the wings kept back. Or as a 3 with the wings pushed forward.

Normally we play with two DM's as opposed to two box to box players, which means the wings have more license to get forwards.

I'd rather have a player more of a liability at the back in this instance as at home we need players on the wings who offer an attacking threat.

The way we gifted possession to So'ton at home with Sakho & Toure at full back should be a lesson to anyone thinking we should slot in a CB there for solidarity.
                                Forwards.......
