Liverpool vs Crystal Palace; Sat 5th Oct; 3pm

No one else has started this so I will.

A nice home fixture after a much needed away win. Last match before internationals and an opportunity for Hodgson to f**k over Sturridge.

Should we bench Sturridge and bring him on later? Or play him early and sub him on 60 mins? Agger is also back in contention, Sakho back on the bench?
    One tit for another.

I'd start with strongest X1 and then bench if we're leading comfortably.

      Yup, same here.

Not sure about the defence. I'd like to get Agger back in but not sure who would make way for him.

Yeah on hindsight the SAS partnership needs to stay together. Go for the jugular.

Sakho needs to stay but perhaps Toure could make way to preserve his legs for the season?

Sturridge needs games to get his fitness up. Can't take any game for granted so definitely keep the SAS partnership. Would suggest Sakho & Skrtel at the back with a 4-3-3. Need to get on the front foot from the start

Going to this one so there had better be some goals!
The Bodge is gone, long live the King!

Presuming everyone is fit etc... same team as vs Sunderland but with Sterling at RWB and Henderson in Centre Midfield.
Would like to see Kelly back on the bench to try and get him 30 mins or so again at the end.

While unlikely as he's been out for a while but if Allen is fit I would play him instead of Moses and push Henderson off Sturridge and Suarez.

Sterling good enough defensivly to play that position?

                        I'll be back over.

                        No Lucas.

                        Luis back though.

                        Kolo will hopefully play.

                        Can't wait.

Last International break put a sudden halt to our winnings ways.

                          I f*cking hate Internationals.

No that was the Manager of the Month and stupid Player of the Month awards.

My only concern is injury with Sturridge this time around, rather than a drop in form.

Against Crystal Palace and with three CBs behind him, I think so. Kolo will shuttle across to cover and since Palace only really play one striker (I think) and Enrique won't get forward as much as a proper wingback, there should be enough bodies back even if Sterling gets caught out of position (but he looked decent enough against Notts Co. and Sunderland when asked to play back there).

Assuming we stick with a back three, of course.
