Palace noticeably setting up as a 442. Jerome & Chamakh up top with Kebe & Puncheon on the wings.
Should see us dominate the midfield but Palace will be a threat on the counter. If Holloway is brave/mad he could leave Jerome & Chamakh on our 3 CB's and if we throw players forward look to counter with Kebe & Puncheon breaking quickly in the wings, giving possible 3v3 & 3v4 scenarios in favour of palace.
2 up top also gives them two targets to hit with an out ball and both are strong enough to hold it up. Chamakh is gifted technically and will play off others well whilst Jerome can use his pace to get behind.Forwards.......

The only issue with that formation (flat back 4) when Johnson isn't playing is that the full backs wouldn't be able to press very high, which is the case when Johnson is here. Not sure Toure can be as dynamic as Glen can be. Rodgers likes his wide players to push very high which is why he has adjusted to a back 3 lately (in the absence of Glen Jo).Are we winning?
