Not perfect by any means but a good win all the same.

          top of the league, ma

still need to chuck the hairdryer around to get some more effort in the second half.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Good win, pretty comfortable 3-1, that's what you want in those games.

Keep Sturridge and Suarez fit and playing as many of the remaining league games and we have every chance of being top four

First half - didn't really put a foot wrong. Good stuff.

Second half? The now all too familiar second half malaise really needs to be sorted once and for all. Going to start costing us points.

Yeah not bad but next month is the big test.

Although we've beaten Man Utd already, we have Chelsea, Tottenham and Man City I think?

It has already cost us five.

I'm happy to see us kill the game off early, though we were coasting in the 2nd and were a bit complacent.

Aye. Makes you wonder wtf's going on.
Is it a cunning plan to guard against injuries?
Are BR's half time talks too soporific?
                      Or are we just ****e?

I thought that with that formation, defensively, we're not up to it. Massive gaps when we lose the ball. It might be due to not being used to playing it, I don't know, but we need to sort this out. Ah, and the sloppiness. Infuriating.

And Enrique. Another infuriating performance from him. His crossing is piss poor.

Still, loads to look forward to. Top of the league and improving all the time.
                        Are we winning?

Commentator today called us a one half team... yet were top of the league, frightening! but totally agree with you that its a worrying trend.

Sterling had a shocker! shaky defending and toothless attacking.

need to play our second halfs like morecambe. they were 0-3 down and came back to win 4-3.

thats not to say we should revert to waiting until we are 3-0 down before we decide to have a go [again]

Great start to the season, only the game against Southampton that's been disappointing. Performances overall haven't been the best, especially in the 2nd half of games but how many times in recent seasons have we played well and not picked up the points?

Barring any bad luck we'll have Allen, Cissokho and Johnson back after the international break (I think) and Coutinho to be added to the side in a month or so will be a big boost.
