I thought Moses was alright, but can't think of any way that anyone could think he had a better game than Henderson. And as for Enrique...Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostThat's clearly just made up bollocks. I thought Moses was quite effective, we were totally dominant until he went off.
I'd go something like:
Mignolet 7, Toure 7, Sakho 7, Skrtel 6, Enrique 5, Sterling 6, Gerrard 7, Henderson 9, Moses 7, Suarez 8, Sturridge 7.

he might not be as creative as coutinho around the goal area but his graft, pressing and ball winning through the middle of the pitch have been vital.
his contribution was more evident once he went off and we looked lazy and wide open in midfield.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I think we played a good game against Palace. We dominated and outplayed them in the first half, and let go of the breaks a bit in the second. I see no problem with that, we were still in control of the game in the second even if we didn't play as attacking. Nice bit of control from the back - something the team is learning well atm.
Moses is a different type of player than Coutinho, whilst not as creative, he creates a lot of space for Sturridge and Suarez with his run and positioning. I like him, seems a clever loan signing for the system.
Think the whole team did well, including Sterling and Gerrard that gotten a bit of stick. Everybody need to contribute to dominate a game like we did, and they made good runs for the team, helped defending etc. Perhaps not MOTM performances, but still good contributions.
Happy we are winning the games atm. even if the play doesn't function as intended at times - it just shows we have room for improvement even if we are winning.

Those scores are too high considering we had next to no control of the second half whatsoever.Originally posted by calvoboy View PostI thought Moses was alright, but can't think of any way that anyone could think he had a better game than Henderson. And as for Enrique...

You could just as easily argue that yours are far too harsh considering we won the game very very easily.Originally posted by spider-neil View PostThose scores are too high considering we had next to no control of the second half whatsoever.
Mignolet 7, Toure 6, Sakho 7, Skrtel 6, Enrique 5, Sterling 4, Gerrard 6, Henderson 7, Moses 6, Suarez 7, Sturridge 7.
Anyway, the main point was that the Sunday Times scores were ****ed up in their relative scores, listing our worst players as Sakho and Skrtel, and having Henderson worse than Enrique.
