Worry about a RB and our midfield.

Lucas and Gerrard both played 90 minutes and Allen and Coutinho will probably still not be ready for Saturday.

On the paper we have more quality than them and their defence is poor to say at least but they are playing at home and could pull an upset.
I think we'll score at least 3, so would like to hope that would be enough to win.

Am hoping they keep Cisse up top and Remy out wide (even though he's scoring from there) and Ben Arfa on the bench. One positive thing is both wide men like to cut inside and that should suit us as with 3 CB's and our holding midfielders, that area should be pretty congested.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

      Possibly something like

      Mignolet

      Toure. Skrtel. Sakho. Enrique

      Lucas

      Hendo Gerrard. Moses

That's what I'd plump for too. If Johnson was fighting fit, I'd stick to the 3-4-1-2. With Remy and Ben Arfa on the wings, I wouldn't want Henderson on the right facing either of them.

No he's been out for a bit so no need to race him back & chance another injury. I opted for Sterling at RB last match but not here.

Yep, so I'd revert to a back four with Toure as rightback for this match. Concern about the likes of Remy and Ben Arfa 'overloading' us on the flanks should Henderson line up as right wingback.

Although we could swap positions and play Moses there and Henderson as an energetic #10 (the role he played magnificently against the barcodes last season).

This is a fixture I genuinely look forward to, we always seem to enjoy and play good football at their ground. I can see Gerrard, Suarez and Sturridge giving them an absolutely torrid time and I would not be surprised if it is a repeat of last seasons result.

I'd stick with the 4 at the back with Enrique given an advanced role when were in possession. Henderson will help Toure & everyone else with his energy.

The only concern for me is our form after international matches. As long as BR doesn't try to make too many changes as we won't get much time together if he wants to do something different.

That can work too, a la Barcelona with Abidal forming a back three with Pique and Puyol while Alves rampages forward.

It's always an entertaining, open game of football; we get entertained by the results, the barcodes get an open game of football.

Think it'll be a closer affair this time around as they have more to play for and are in better shape and form.

Would be a good win. Early goal would decide it imo.

We may as well cut off the right 1/3 of the pitch then as we’ll offer little to no threat down there. I like Henderson a lot, but he struggles more on the wing and with his only support coming from a CB, I think he’s struggle even more.

One of the reasons we changed to 3 at the back to negate the loss of Johnson and it has worked well, so I don’t see why we would revert back now if he’s not fit enough to start,

TBF, he's only been out for a few weeks and considering how quickly Sturridge was thrown back in after a longer injury you'd have to think he's in with a shout. He does have a poor injury record though, so it could be a big risk.

I suppose on paper, that could work. Moses providing some natural width on the right and Henderson cutting in on the left allowing Enrique to bomb forward.

I still worry having a CB at FB though. Our style of play really relies on on FB’s getting forward and providing decent attacking outlet, so if Enrique is having an off day, I think we’ll struggle.

Yeah it's not ideal but if there's any doubt over Glo Jo's fitness we should wait a week. Would you play Sterling at RB.?
