Moses did ok when moved out wide yesterday, so if it's 433 I wouldn't mind seeing him wide left. I can't see it though, think Rodgers will keep 2 up top.

Everything Rodgers said yesterday points to 3 at the back being the way we will play for a while because he believes its the system that best suits the players we have.Its all about finding ways to keep the front 2 central and with Coutinho coming back you definitely want him central too. 4-3-1-2 is narrow and we lack good wide midfielders so it's likely to remain 3-4-1-2. I'd like to see Gerrard in behind the front 2 until Coutinho comes back but we all know it will be Allen/Moses.

TBF, in the 3 league games we've played with 3 at the back, we've won twice and drew once scoring 8 goals, so I can see why he might stick with it. I do think Coutinho will make a massive, massive difference though.

I said in the post-match thread against Newcastle, I'd love to see the 3-5-2 with Coutinho instead of Victor. I think we've looked a lot more solid in the games playing 3-5-2 as opposed to the back 4. We weren't scoring a lot playing 4 at the back. Johnson and Aly as wing-backs with some fitness behind them will be pretty excitingl Coutinho getting space in the middle will be good as well
