Stoke take the lead again almost straight away

It fair to say Utd's cloak of invincibility is well and truely gone when you see the likes of Stoke giving it a go at Old Toilet.

And winning.

We as usual look so much better with (hugely overrated) Lucas in the team.

We also seem to have more control and balance with the three proper CMs.

I hate Olssen. Was it him who Suarez nutmegged for the first goal?

1st half has passed Sturridge by but Suarez has more than picked up his slack

So far so good but the Skrtel chance aside we haven't created much, neither of Suarez' goals were even half chances really

Gerrard, Lucas and Henderson doing a really well too, Rodgers got it spot on today because West Brom are strongest in midfield. Mulumbu and Yacob were excellent against United but we've swarmed them all over the pitch.

Yeah sounded like he had a good half, mentioned often on the lfctv commentary. Sounds like there's some nice moves all round.

the midfield has worked really well today with Lucas, Henderson and Gerrard. Was a good call to drop Moses as the formation didn't really suit him as the No 10.

Coutinho is really going to have to fight to get his place back based on the first half performance.

both wingbacks look very threatening and suarez is almost back to his brilliant best. henderson and lucas have mopped up everything and gerrard is pulling the strings behind suarez and sturridge.

I think some of the stick he's got is more out of frustration at how we look rigid in midfield at times. We don't look that way at all day, lot of running off the ball, pressing West Brom deep and moving the ball quickly.

Having said that when Coutinho comes back in, probably at the expense of Henderson the gap between midfield and attack will look more evident and it may start to look that way again.

Not sure it was really Lucas though, the dynamic between him and Gerrard seemed off, today with how we've set up it looks like it's working really well.

While the first goal was great I could watch the second one all days. That stayed headed.

having lucas back also gives henderson & gerrard to push forward. we look much better balanced with both henderson and gerrard dovetailing well. one sits the other pushes and vice versa.
