I don't think it's that necessarily, a 1-2 works fine when you have the players for it. I don't think we do. Lucas is still hit or miss, Gerrard's fitness is going, Hendo doesn't have the technical ability or mental/tactical wherewithal. Against teams like WBA it works but even if we went with a 2-1 today we'd be having problems.

With respect that's exactly what it is. We have two midfield men ahead of the ball and Lucas cant deal with the counter attacks that arsenal and throwing at us.

You change that to a 21 and we control them on the counter and their overall game.

We were tactically naive and set up to be slaughtered and they are doing it.

I'll seem like a twit for saying this but we won't finish top four. Not with the kind of tactics that BR has employed this season.

The 9 pts we had from the first 3 games make us look better than what we are. We've had 11pts from 7 games since then.

That's not title winning form. That's not even top 4 form.

We sacrificed a vital position with starting him in a role he cannot and should not be playing. Not his fault.. blame lies with Rodgers on that one
