    Badly exposed all of our weaknesses today. Still plenty of positives for the rest of the season but tonight was just utterly terrible. Still, it has taken us till November to lose our first away game so I'm not exactly slamming the panic button. Beat Fulham next week and then make sure we're much improved for our next away game vs the Blue ****e.

      If I could describe our team as a class register it would go a little something like this.

      Goalkeeper = Here
      Defence = Here
      Midfield = On holiday in Brazil
      Attack = Here

        It's a huge defeat for us. I mean, HUGE. We won't compete this season. Perky was right.
        Are we winning?

            With mostly the same players and a different attitude we went there last season,out played them in the first half and scored twice. In the second half we then adopted the same attitude we've had for most today's game,were outplayed and only got a draw.

            We should have learned from that.To allow Arsenal the ball with no pressure inside your own half is suicide.

            We must beat Fulham next week and get back on track or the derby could be nasty.

              So disappointing. We had absolutely nothing on either side, Suarez and Sturridge too isolated, midfield three completely dominated. Thought we had the better of the first 15 minutes of each half but for the other hour of play they were a lot better.
              Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

                Ah well **** happens. Chavs under a supposed god of a manager got beat by Newcastle.

                Biggest thing about today for me now is how we respond.

                    Very much so.

                    Be nice to see a bit of perspective but it'll never happen, one game doesn't make a season and all that.

                    10 games in and we're in the top 4, we should be happy with that so far.

                      The midfield did nothing to support the strikers and for the list part the defenders. The midfield is the main issue, just not good enough at this level.

                        Well that was a real learning curve for us.

                        We look frail in centre mid, the lack of pace and creativity between both Gerrard and Lucas today really hurt us.

                        Suarez and Sturridge were far too isolated up top, and a bit too much tinkering by Rodgers, should of stuck with the original formation and had Hendo at right back.

                            Disappointing, but we still had plenty of chances to make it more interesting. Henderson and Suarez were a little wasteful.

                            Today's match highlights our deficiencies in midfield. The form of Suarez and Sturridge has been papering over the cracks in this department for a while now, but it's something that's a real concern.

                              Not the point. Just think it makes everyone a lot more negative than is necessary when they go into it thinking we're going to win but end up being shown up big time.

                                Our back line is extremely erratic without Agger. Our midfield is **** as I've been saying for months. Gerrard/Lucas is a painfully slow pairing now that Gerrard has completely lost his athleticism and his ability to make a 10 yard dash.
