Henderson has been our most consistent midfielder this season, despite his poor performance against Arsenal (he wasn't the only one to be fair).

Lucas hasn't reached his pre-injury level yet. He's blown hot and cold this season.

I suppose you could say that on current form, Gerrard is probably the midfielder who I'd rest but this won't happen.

Dunno. I'm not having a pop at any of our midfielders, I just think Allen hasn't really played for such a long time - fully fit - so it'd be good to see him come in and show what he can do.

The Agger / defence selection is exactly the same too, really.

If I was to drop anyone for Allen it would be Lucas. I'm not a hater before anyone kicks off but I'd like to give Allen a crack at it & see if he & Stevie can get a relationship going. No gay jokes here please.

That's fair enough mate.

We spent £15m on the lad, he was only fully-fit between August and October last season and he's hardly played a competitive game since April or something.

Dunno about dropping Lucas but against Fulham you'd like to think that we can take the risk.

I think Allen can sit a little further back because Coutinho also retains possession very well. Neither player hides and is 'brave' in possession. I think Allen worsened last season due to his shoulder injury but if he's stronger then he can use his body to greater effect.

Coutinho, Allen, Alberto, Henderson seem to be players most comfortable in possession.
