I've been really confident about this team and the direction we've been going in for a good 12 months now, and I really don't think if we do miss out by a few points I'll spend any time looking back thinking "what might have been" at all. I'll be looking at next season thinking "**** yeah, bring them on"!

This isn't like 08/09 when Rafa's team, that he'd been building for 4 years and taken to 2 EC finals etc was at the peak of its curve and we went into the season believing we could challenge. Not one single person on this site or anywhere else can have believed last summer that we'd be in this position with 10 games left. There's no need for nerves or anxiety, we're overperforming for once and it is flipping glorious fun to experience in a way that only the 2005 Istanbul cup run is on a par with in recent memory. Don't overthink it, just enjoy it I say

I get all that but this season feels like a golden chance. United gone, top 2 challengers new managers and dropping points earlier on. Suarez playing at an amazing level. 10 relegation like teams for the taking. And the no expectation or pressure which will inevitably happen next season.

We're in an even better position than 2008/09, and if we can finish like them there is no doubt we would win the title. You can plan for everything and spend any amount if money in the summer, but as was proved in 2009, being the best doesn't mean you'll win it. You have to go for it when the chance is there. We've had better teams than this since 1990, but we are in sparkling form.

Mourinho and Pellegrini will have had a full year in charge and will have another transfer window (and technically, Moyes). We have the element of surprise, the advantage of little pressure, two players who are **** hot in front of goal and momentum. (I'm not saying we won't have as potent a strikeforce next year, but you never know about form, injuries, etc).

Equally, I can understand another year for Rodgers and a potential summer building a squad with the lure of Champions League ...

ARRGH! It's just a cluster**** of emotions. I wanted top four this season and I'll be more than happy with any position in the top four, but if we just miss out I will be looking at historic results and thinking 'what if'.

And ****ing hell, its been a great ride so far. As long as we qualify for the CL next year, which we have to be rather confident about now, everything else is a massive bonus which is seems a huge waste to stress about. Honestly, I love it, this season is what football should be about

I actually think that on current form, we're the best team in the league at the moment. Chelsea are scraping wins and City and Arsenal are blowing hot and cold as ever.

I still don't think we'll win it though. It's a massive ask even though we're in a magnificent position.

The glimmer of hope for me is that Chelsea are operating under such tight margins, that their luck will run out sooner or later. I just can't see it at the moment though. They are playing like the stereotypical champions, just like United used to. And they have more a lot more experience than our team.

We'll see though. It's immensely enjoyable. To think that draws at Chelsea and City in December would have had us at the top of the league right now. It's hard to believe isn't it.

This season has been great and I love watching us play but I honestly wish it was over cos I'm dying to find out how it all will end!

As said above, we are the best team in the league at this point in time. It's just amazing. There is not one player in our squad we rely on. Sadly, if a couple are missing we do look a bit weaker, as we don't have enough options, but with luck we can win this league.

If we go into the last game of the season with a chance of winning the league this place would be mental. Newcastle at home as well isn't the hardest game to play.
