That was Brendan's best win as LFC manager by some distance I'd say, the way we exploited AVB's high line defence was a joy to watch, the long balls over the top in behind plus the fast, accurate passes on the ground that cut straight through their defence. Brilliant.

You were one of the perpetual moaners I fully expected to come on here and see you say that the result was just papering over the cracks and we'll do well to finish sixthOriginally posted by Sarb View Post**** me. I didnt even watch or have my phone on. Seriously thought we would get hammered. Maybe the key is me not watching or checking the score
Incredible result. Without Gerrard too. Henderson came of age apparently??

You're joking surely? The only positive for Spurs was that we didn't score ten. Let's also remember the players we had missing too. We still gave them a football lessonOriginally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostThe only positive for Spurs is they looked like they had something building until the sending off.. That's all. Maybe Vertonghen and that Romanian fella missing.

It was the sort of performance I dreamed about when Brendan took over. An absolute joy to watch. I do think we were helped partly by Spurs' ineptitude. We won't win 5-0 at City or Chelsea but still, don't want to take anything away from our boys who were amazing.
I have no idea how true it is, and it seems far-fetched, but I read yesterday that Rodgers has now been in charge for 38 games and we have picked up 81 points. Surely not. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Of courseOriginally posted by Alex View PostCant be true. He would have been in charge for 38 games on the opening day of the season. Unless it means the last 38?
....it's early.
Maybe it is the last 38 yeah. Wasn't worded very well when I read it.
Either way he is improving us and doing a grand job. And there's still room for improvement.
