We have truly put spurs in their place today. We had fallen behind spurs the past few years due to H&G but we are getting back to where we belong.

For me the game was won with the extra legs we had in Midfield; by that I mean having Henderson and Allen with Lucas, as opposed to one being dropped for Gerrard.

The extra legs allowed us to press more and get in their face, and it was brilliant to watch

Sterling was brilliant - he seemed to get stuck in more as well, which I suppose is a confidence thing. The goal would have done wonders for him.
