Ive just watched the entire match and that's the best midfield performance ive seen from us in years. Allen, hendo and Lucas were immense and he never stopped running and chasing spurs all game.

That was as good as ive seen us play under BR. I like Gerrard a lot but the midfield works a lot better without him in it.

Sakho was a rock and Flanagan reminds me of carragher but better on the ball. His goal aside he played really well and he looks quicker and stronger than before.

Just an overall brilliant performance. Certainly one of the best ive seen in a long time especially from our midfield.

Be interesting to see if that midfield trio can keep those energy levels up on a consistent basis. Will make things interesting when Stevie is fully fit.
