That was Brendan's best win as LFC manager by some distance I'd say, the way we exploited AVB's high line defence was a joy to watch, the long balls over the top in behind plus the fast, accurate passes on the ground that cut straight through their defence. Brilliant.

I am overwhelmed. Absolutely outstanding performance.

That's 3 points and SO SO SO much more.

Just hope the lads come back down to earth in time for the Cardiff game because I don't think we will!

If extra points were available for style and determination then we'd have gotten 5 points out of this one!

Any video links of the Carra, Gerrard and Souness love in on Sky?

I'd love to see that, cannot believe Sky put three red on the panel and no ex Spurs guys!

Incredible result. Without Gerrard too. Henderson came of age apparently??
You were one of the perpetual moaners I fully expected to come on here and see you say that the result was just papering over the cracks and we'll do well to finish sixth

You're joking surely? The only positive for Spurs was that we didn't score ten. Let's also remember the players we had missing too. We still gave them a football lesson

Watched highlights on both sky and motd last night and it was an absolute romp. The only times that Spurs looked like scoring were when we gave the ball away sloppily which allowed them to have a go at our defence.
                  Are we winning?

That great feeling when you wake up the day after a result like that. A few seconds to figure out what day it is before you remember the result. Sets you up for a great day.

                    Cannot wait for Cardiff now

Loved the swagger we had about us as well. Think Brendan mentioned arrogance. The relentless pressing from the front and the irrepressible passing. Great to watch us playing at the moment. Long may it continue.

It was the sort of performance I dreamed about when Brendan took over. An absolute joy to watch. I do think we were helped partly by Spurs' ineptitude. We won't win 5-0 at City or Chelsea but still, don't want to take anything away from our boys who were amazing.

I have no idea how true it is, and it seems far-fetched, but I read yesterday that Rodgers has now been in charge for 38 games and we have picked up 81 points. Surely not.

Cant be true. He would have been in charge for 38 games on the opening day of the season. Unless it means the last 38?
                          *Except Michael, who died.

                              Of course ....it's early.

Maybe it is the last 38 yeah. Wasn't worded very well when I read it.

Either way he is improving us and doing a grand job. And there's still room for improvement.

Yeah last 38 games. Since the turn of the year we've consistently been playing like championship contenders.
