Over the last 38 league games we've won 81 points! That's got to be close to league winning?

I have no idea how true it is, and it seems far-fetched, but I read yesterday that Rodgers has now been in charge for 38 games and we have picked up 81 points. Surely not.

That's wrong. I've just counted this back. If you count back the previous 38 Premier League games the points tally comes out as 74 points.

That dates back to the match against Aston Villa in December of 2012 which we lost 3-1.

Mid 70s puts you there or there abouts for a Champions League spot in recent years.

We were languishing down in 9th place 38 games ago, so the improvement is clear to see

i'd be pretty happy with mid to high 70's this season. It's a tight league and that amount would surely be close.
