I never thought Flanagan was the full package but he's proved us all wrong

I never saw this coming at all. I got this totally wrong and I have to give the manager and players total credit for this.

Its one of the best performances I've seen for decades. The midfield was superb. I slaughtered that trio but didn't they prove me wrong.

Still a long way to go but this result should give them a great boost. I still have doubts about this team but I hope I have to keep making posts like this on a Monday.

You can't lose when its your football team. I just hope we go on with a strong belief that we can win away at the challenges. First time we have done that under Rodgers, may it continue.

I dont think he is to be perfectly honest, will end up being a reliable squad player.
Nothing wrong with that but still think we need an upgrade

Yeah, he was certainly prepared to stand up and be counted when things got hard for him. I wouldn't say it was a champagne performance though, as well as he played on the day, more of a Semillon.

you can come and slag them off every week if we come up with the goods like that
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Why are you dragging "us" into this?

The only reason I made that post was so I could get the words "full package" in in relation to the picture of him, hence the smiley.

Don't read into it too much

I'm still buzzing from the game. Not so much beating those wannabes 5-0 but the fact we did it without Gerrard, Agger, Sturridge and Enrique. Henderson was fantastic and I believe that is a result of Gerrard not being in the team.

With Gerrard in the team Henderson tends to look for Stevie to make something happen or give him the ball. Yesterday though he knew he had to do it on his own and boy did he.

We afforded them no time & space at all in midfield. We strangled the life out of them & it was lovely to watch.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Nope, I just don't like him as a player

                              Doesn't do anything for me

Henderson I can get, I think hes been given a hard ride by many on here and I think he brings a lot to the table

                              Allen not so much
