Some on Twitter saying Brad Smith will start.

Massive gamble by Rodgers if true - but then again it aint like the alternatives are great either.

My cloudy and slightly dazed head, read that as Brad Jones and my fingers worked a reply quicker than my brain could ... backspace took a hammering.

If true - and it's a bif if - then I wonder if Rodgers doesn't have much faith in Kelly.

Not suggesting he's ready for this game, but when will McLaughlin get some game time?

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I've got a feeling he'll start. Rossiter removing his tweet last night was an indication that Smith is set to start imo.

Brad Smith is fast as **** and might do alright against Navas in that respect. A risk though but whatever we do will be a risk.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Its a lose nothing game, with some injuries creeping in. Best time to risk fringe players, or even give another exciting (and excited) youngster a chance.

Brad Smith is fast but I'm sure McLaughlin is faster. However, Brad is stronger and defensively he does his bit. Always played left back so knows how to hold the line, push up, drop back at the right times. Like Shaggy said pace wise should be ok with Navas (though Navas is slightly faster obviously).
                      One tit for another.

@IanCheeseman: I've heard an unsubstantiated rumour that might have been a #mcfc injury in training yesterday,I'm not giving you a name & hope I'm wrong

I'd be happy to give either a chance, purely on the basis that all our young FB's always seem to make excellent first team debuts.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Please let it be true. A slight injury to Yaya Toure that just keeps him out for one game.

Ya ya was who my initial reaction was, is it confirmed? If not, has to be Silva.

Money would actually be on Silve due to his recent injury record and my recent FF record.
