Linesman cost us the game there. That's the worst offside decision i have seen all season. Lee mason is a ****ing shocking referee as well.

      Lost that for three reasons:

      1. Skrtel's bloody annoying habit of pulling shirts and wrestling instead of challenging for the ball
      2. A goalkeeping ****-up from Mignolet at the worst possible time
      3. Not taking our chances, which you have to do against the other top sides

But apart from that we were bloody good today. We more than matched them at their place, which is more than anyone else has managed at the Etihad this season. Really really frustrating that we didn't get the point or three that we deserved from our play, but there are loads of positives to take from that game.

We were very good. Better than them, denied a clear goal and unlucky with keeper mistakes. We're up there on merit.

Excellent away performance against a team that are quite capable of winning the Champions League. We were the better side.
          Another MASSIVE game

Unlucky to lose, but in another way, we got what we deserved.

**** it......plenty of positives, but we already know where we have to improve.

We'll get those points back at Anfield and we'll do the plastics on Sunday... Loads of positives to take...No-one will think we're out of the running after that performance....

All about how we go at Chelsea now. Don't think we have lost 2 back to back under Rodgers and now is not the time to start.

We deserved something out of that game and played some great stuff. Tight games are settled by fine margins, we made a couple of mistakes got punished and didn't take a couple of decent chances.

The rest of the league will be taking notice and even though we lost, I think any potential transfer targets will watch that match and want to be a part of this team.

Well done to the team (apart from Johnson who was dog**** again) for taking the match to them and giving a good account of ourselves.

Remember that Man Utd were tonked by this team last season but still won the league. The fact we should have won it means we can build on this and grab a **** load more points in the 2nd half of the season.

Actually, its not all I've got to say. Cissokho is gash. Too slow. Caught out dawdling back far too much. Can we cancel his loan in January?

Skrtel is immense with his feet but a shocker in the air. Barring 5 minutes or so Sakho looked decent. Johnson still seems to want an eternity on the ball and he has been caught a few times because of it.

I hope we bring in a quality CB to partner Sakho as Skrtel's shirt grabbing instead of ****ing defending is going to cost us.

                          Gutted.

Our young lads behind Suarez; Sterling, Henderson and Coutinho all had brilliant matches but didn't convert their chances when they had them. Their lack of experience showed but all three have bright futures at this club.

Can't do much when you create so many chances, get robbed on a terrible offside call, and then on the other Mignolet concedes two very soft goals. We should have won this game with proper execution and were the better side.

Have to say, we need to move on from Skrtel. He's hot and cold in the worst way. 29 and still feels like he needs a "couple of years"... We shouldn't be waiting.

Proud of Rodgers, he's winning me over. Lots of positives from this match, we're building a very talented young team.

The booking for Moses then Fernandinho hammering of one ours to the floor from behind and getting ****ing summed Mason up. Disgraceful.

So unlucky should have had it wrapped and officials were terrible. Sterling and Suarez tried their best. Sahko had good first half and skrtel made mistakes in first. Sahko had nightmare second half and skrtel was outstanding. Need to give Cissoko back.. Dreadful.

Allen and Johnson have genuinely been terrible this season. Gutted we lost.. We really deserved at least a point out of that.

We can't know that for sure just because we played well today it doesn't mean well smash them at home. 3 points were there for us and we didn't take it, despite the ref and his linesmen being cunts.
