Not really..........forwards regularly get clattered after getting their effort away. Strong ref needs to decide only if their effort was put off IMO, otherwise wed have 4-5 penos a game. No complaints for me.

If at the halfway point we are only 6 points off top with all the big teams at home Id be happy. Spurs win really helped. Was a bonus for me as didnt expect it. We are on for fourth regardless of what happens at Stamford Bridge

Hurts just that bit more when you see the chances missed again in the highlights

Had a look at the other post-match thread on bluemoon and the underlying current is that we were the toughest team they've faced so far, and that they expect us to be a consistent threat over the course of the season. Not that it matters, but it's nice to see opposition fans (especially those of a competitor) taking us seriously and giving us credit where it's due. And also proves that we're not wearing rose-tinted spectacles.

          Believe!!!

I want to but if we lose against Chelsea, we could be down to 5th

Still top 4. Decent performance v chelsea and its mission accomplished as far as I'm concerned.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

He was totally poleaxed. The logical conclusion of not giving a penalty there would be utter carnage after every missed chance. Ridiculous. Suarez made too much out of the push - swan dive and arms up. If he'd just naturally fallen he might have had a better shout cos he was taken out of it.

It'll guarantee we get the 'treatment' from Mourinho on Sunday. Ultra defensive and try to grind out a 1-0 win. No way they come at us chasing the points.

Well said Rodgers. He said he felt the 3 officials were poor in their performance level and that we didn't get anything that went our way. He said it's a credit to our players that they kept fighting.

Hurts more than the loss against Hull.

I'm back to hating Mourinho and Chelsea more than Utd. Any sort of a win against the horrible cunt and I'll feel better about today's loss. He's a ****in toerag.

his MO for Sunday will be a massive windup.

That's a load of **** that I'm sick of commentators coming out with. How many times has a player stayed on their feet or made little of a blatant foul just for the commentator to say 'he should have made more of it' or 'he was too honest' when the foul isn't given.

Obviously they are wrong on both occasions, but more often or not the foul is given when the player calls for it than when he doesn't.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Anyway, it was unlikely we were gonna get 6 points from our next 2 games, so if I'd have had the choice I'd have let City take the 3 and get the win at Stamford Bridge.
