Just been reading about Skrtel for Kompany's goal. FFS. Very annoying all that grabbing and not looking at the ball. You don't really see that stuff from behind the goal.

It's not all his fault but we are dire defending set pieces. Knew they'd score from one today.

Skrtel has never tried to clear a ball off a corner for as long as I can remember. He is too busy pulling the shirt. The amount BT highlight it, some ref is gonna do him for it. It is pathetic defending. Half his clearances come from his **** ups too

spot on they were both at it.. as are most CB's in any football game. Skrtel will be done for it eventually but it literally happens in every football game, at every set piece. Just a part of the game but didn't point out some of the posy tackles happening to Sterling & Suarez all game.

For some reason BT seem to highlight it every 5 mins. Sakho & Skrtel with the right players weather side (different ones every ****ing ) could be a decent partnership. Both made mistakes today but not too bothered about either player performance as there was lots of positives to take out of it. Sakho make some great blocks and defensive headers int eh first half & Skrtel made numerous last ditch, goal saving tackles. Needs some fine tuning as doe sang CB partnership.

Managed to blah some corporate seats for this - Damm unlucky, I'm mean not one decent break went for us today, there was a lot going on off the ball as well, surprised Sterling can walk after some of the things that happened way of the ball on him.
Fella in the sets near me mentioned that we were up there with Bayern as the the best sides to have played there this year.

desperately need a stable backline, be good for Mignolet too. We've been so unlucky with injuries & form.

Skrtel and Sahko had ropey moments but they covered both of our fullbacks mistakes the whole game. Be interesting to see what happens with johnsons contract renewal because as you said performance is certainly not justifying the wages.

Skrtel and Sakho aren't our best pairing, our lack of clean sheets is proof somewhat that defence needs attention. If Suarez hits a mini drought then we're going suffer as a result. Need Agger back in defence alongside Sakho or Toure asap

It WAS in many ways a good performance, but at the top of the league it is also about consistency and any player who makes one serious mistake a game will be the difference between success and failure....so they are a liability. We still have a few too many liabilities in our squad.

I was expecting us to take a good hiding today, but we did well. Unlucky to miss a few good chances and the refereeing was abysmal. We should go into the game against Chelsea full of confidence after that performance today.

I thought Cissokho wasn't too bad, we did panic a bit at the back which is a bit worrying. We need to be more composed. When we're attacking we look terrific.
