A 'top' team takes advantage of the slices of luck they get and we simply didn't react.

I'm not sure if Rodgers thought we were simply playing well or what but that midfield needed tweaking and at 2-0 up it was the perfect opportunity. Lucas is bombing on and getting caught out, he didn't need to at 2-0 and our composure on the ball is laughable.

Should have been a routine win after the start we had, hanging on at half time is ridiculous! If we come out and play the same way in the 2nd half Stoke could easily put another 2 past us.

If Coutinho scores either one of his 2 great chances it's a different score at HT. We've given them a sniff & they've taken their chances.

Gerrard dropping deep isn't the issue ffs. First goal we left that chap cross the ball unattended and second goal it was a careless back pass and Gerrard slipping. Up to that point we were bossing it.

We don't defend like a title challenging team at the moment. Simple as that. Going forward we're a match to anyone.

Yes. The guy is a fraud/conman, he keeps fooling both our fans and a succession of managers into believing he's a good, reliable CB when he's the polar opposite of that.

I hope Johnson i sold in the summer. He just gives us nothing in defence. I use to think he was quality but he's **** this season. Skrtel just wrestles people to the ground.

Johnson has been poor again, so wasteful in possession these days too.

We really weren't excellent at all. They've threatened our goal far more than we their's. The goal came after a busy start from them and knocked them for a few minutes. Sky reckons we've had 60% possession, not buying that! We've looked ripe for the taking throughout. Gerrard's serening is much better than his attacking at the moment but I'd still prefer him playing further up field where his mistakes don't go as punished

That's not true though is it.

Yeah he's not great but it's not as though all of our fans worship him. I think most of us here realise his limitations.

Anyway, with Agger and Sakho injured we had no choice other than to play Toure and Skrtel today.
