Coutinho was brilliant as was Henderson.

Perhaps this was in part under instruction, but I reckon we should be in tip-top condition this Sunday against the spuds.

I think once we got a second alot of players heads went to the Spurs match and conserving energy for that.

        Sunderland played very well.

Johnson is still a huge question mark.

        Ref was crap

Agree it's the 3 points that matter & we got that thankfully.

We will need Johnson & Flanno to up their games if we are to continue our winning ways. Other than those 2 we were ok. Conceding that goal made the last 15 mins nervy but he we held firm.

              Next.

I thought Flanagan did ok actually. That said, I think we should look at the full back positions come summer.

Good win, bit nervy, but if we want to win the title we have to be able to win ugly.

Enrique's injury problem mean he can't be relied on, imo

7 wins in a row is just bonkers. Seemed an impossible ask just a few months ago. Beat Spurs on Sunday and we lock in Champions League football. If Arsenal don't beat City when I think 3rd is locked in as well. I think we'll see a different type of game on Sunday as Spurs need to win the game to give them a real chance of catching Arsenal.

Good win, nice to bag one where everything isn't going perfectly.

Good goal from Sturridge, and some seriously poor keeping on the FK goal (not complaining though )

Hopefully we can keep getting these type of victories as well.

I also believe the Sunderland game highlights how difficult the games will be against the bottom ~6 clubs for the rest of the season. They will go out and give everything in every game now. The WH, Norwich (well Suarez of course) and Palace games won't be walkovers if they have anything to play for still.

Thought Ki looked very dangerous for them when he came on. Looked like it was going to be one of those nights until SG took that free kick - top drawer. Think Suarez and Sturridge could have been a little less selfish towards each other. Still, 3 points in games like this ups the momentum.

I thought Johnson had a bit of a 'mare last night. His decision making was atrocious and his passing wasn't great either.

Ki is a quality player. Has been one of Sunderland's stand out players this season I think. Always looking for the ball and making runs in behind midfielders.
                                Are we winning?
