Could be. He seemed to look away as the ball came in though, as if readying himself to head it, maybe he didn't expect it to hit his arm and was trying to hold the man down so he could head the ball.

After watching MOTD, we can feel somewhat fortunate in terms of decisions. Skrtel's handball and Sakho's challenge were both giveable, as was Kompany's challenge on Suarez

That said, the first 40 minutes is as good as I've seen us play and credit to Pellegrino for the Milner > Navas sub, the impact was massive

iirc skrtel was clambering over sakho to get some extra height and trying to get to the ball before the city player, he knew he was too far away to reach and the arm was out but he was facing away, so i dont think he was actually moving his hand to the ball but the ball hit his hand that just happened to be near/on the city players head.

I did 6 pints of Kronenburg watching the match, then met the wife and child and her old friend and fella (casual City fan ) in a park and tried to be sober. It's a bit blurry after that but I know I went home on a choo choo to appease my boy

I got home and watched replays and EST'd and drunk red wine and fell asleep on the floor and after waking up an hour or so ago, I am completely devoid of any ambition to go to bed

Alas, it appears that there is only you and I and a thimble of Malbec still up, and company as you are, we should probably hit the hay
