I still feel sick even though we won. No matter how many we win, those Chav cunts keep winning too. Now we HAVE to beat Chelsea rather than only need a draw which is continued pressure.

I do believe we can beat them but the stakes are so high that it won't be enjoyable, especially after seeing a two goal lead slip like that.

Whenever I've seen Chelsea recently they've looked terrible. On paper they're a really good team, but they can be very poor. I'm sure they will be really up for the game against us, but we can beat them.

Their goal was so lucky against Swansea, should have been saved properly. Should have been a draw despite having a man extra for 75 minutes.

          Another day at the office

In the words of the great man, "Listen, this is gone. We go to Norwich, exactly the same. We go together. Come on!"

I think he was genuinely going for the ball but his trailing leg tipped his body further back, lifting his studs.

Take a look at some photos or slow mo video and you'll see it.

It was still a correct decision but Hendo is very unlucky there.

Nah, he's lucky, could have been a proper horror tackle with the contact slightly different.

No intent or maliciousness there, but it was completely reckless.

Its not a major issue, not many players out there who never have a brain fart, but we have nothing to complain about.

Cop the ban and move on.

Yeah, he'll be upset with himself for sure but that's football.

Allen is fully fit and playing well so he's a decent enough replacement. I'm sure Rodgers has a plan

Yeah feel gutted for Hendo but Allen is up for it I'd say.

                        Any word on Sturridges injury?

That said, the first 40 minutes is as good as I've seen us play and credit to Pellegrino for the Milner > Navas sub, the impact was massive

Does anyone have any links to the after match interviews? Was expecting more from MOTD

I don't think Skrtel's handball was deliberate he was using his arms to jump in a crowded penalty area and his arms are above everyone, but for me there's no intent to punch the ball away as was suggested.

The Sakho challenge on Dzeko was rash and should have been a pen if he'd gone down when the contact came and not afterwards.

Similarly Suarez should have had a penalty for the foul by Kompany

Also MOTD showed that there was contact between Demichelis ad Suarez when City were calling for a red card, so that should have been a foul.

Overall I thought the ref had a decent game for me the only two incidents he should have given were 1 pen each and he gave neither so that evened itself out.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Don't think it looks good I'm afraid. I fear he'll miss our run in.

If he's out, I'd play Sterling with Suarez up. Sterling's pace will be crucial if Sturridge's out.
                            Are we winning?

It's mad this it feels like this was the game that won us it. In reality, far from it. The Chelsea game will be even bigger than this.

As Gerrard said. This one's done. At Norwich we go again.
