Nigey we need to just make sure we win today. Of course if we win by a big margin it adds extra pressure on to City. But a win first and foremost. Take it to the last game

Got out of bed early today. My schedule is to do some chores in the morning to keep my mind off the game, then will go out, find myself a beer garden and spend some time with the missus. Then around 6, I'll come back and prepare for the match. It's going to be all about the match from there on then. We've got to do this. We will do this. Are we winning?

Which Brendan quotes?Originally posted by Shaggy View PostYep he is brilliant. I'd been on Twitter for two minutes this morning when I saw stacks of City and United fans absolutely mocking the living **** out of Brendan for his quotes. Just **** off. I'm sick of all this sneering from joyless cunts who think we shouldn't show any emotion or have any hope. United fans on FB this weekend belittling us for "celebrating the title win for 6 weeks" - **** off you clowns, it's called support, it's called having hope. We've celebrated nothing and all Brendan is doing is trying to instill some belief.I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

I know it's a bit old now, but I've been wracking my brain for ages for a way to describe the latest edition of Top-Scouserdom and that made me laugh.Originally posted by MrMichael View Postnobody here is impressed by the "I'm so Scouse me" willy waving, infact completely the opposite.Really?

I know, but still. 2 games to and we are right in it. If we were never top but constantly closing the gap on city and had them on the rails with the same points/games left, everyone would be buzzing.Originally posted by destinydude View PostWe are mad because a week ago it was in our hands. Now it's not.

No-one could have realistically predicted what would have happened this year, but if we do end up as runners-up, it's possible to be both proud of the team, but still be bitterly disappointed about how we've let the title slip away from us."I will make the boys feel your support"
