Start could be better, but Southampton. Arsenal and Spurs will be dreading playing us.

Home games after CL is an advantage and we have had a practice at the run in already.

I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

We play Chelsea and Utd after Champions League games. Id guess the Chelsea one will be pretty even footing, given they will be doing the same. But the Utd one could be a banana skin?
      *Except Michael, who died.

We won 11 on the bounce last season.

We are not an average side any more and we will process the easy games again this season.

I thought it was agreed that phrase would never be used again?

            Nice opener for Rickie Lambert.

So it's likely Lallana will be playing at Anfield first game of the season then.

Looking at Mancs fixtures, its really handy for them that they have us 3 days after a potentially crucial CL game. And they also have Chelsea at home after a CL game. And City and Arsenal just before CL games. It gets comical if English teams progress beyond the groups.............. that random fixture generating computer programme is really handy for them........

Dont know why they put big games on early, theres enough buzz with the new season and they always end up being tame affair with no one wanting to get beat.

If true Pulis is going to have a meltdown.

On the weekends following the Champions League group games, Chelsea play City, United, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Teams generally are poor after midweek European games but with big games like that I think the players will find the energy and motivation required to get us through those two.

We can't argue about that fixture list, best one in a while as I see it.

It's all randomised. I can't see anyone at the FA pick and choose games every year.
                          Are we winning?

Anyone know when Sky announce fixtures?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Mid July usually. It was the 14th last year I'm pretty sure.

I thought I read it was approx 2 weeks after fixtures were released. Just need to keep checking as I need to book flights.

Hoping out first match is moved to Sunday, but unlikely.
