Thanjk you.

He's performing well. But today his rivals for a place were also outstanding. Lallana & Couts were class. Plus Raheem will obviously play. When it all calms down and formations shift, he'll have a job on. But it's better for Rodgers.
The whole article is a pointless waste of time. As if you can judge a bunch of 20 year olds four months into their time at a new club. It even says 'ORIGI - UNDECIDED'
The bigger issue is whether rebuilding after losing a vital player with such signings was a good idea. It's pretty clear that nearly all our signings fell into the potential or solid backup categories rather than safe bets of instant first team improvement.
Markovic, Can and Lambert all seem to get stick because of the overall strategy rather than for their own signing. The first two I think will go on to do well and Lambert is a decent backup/plan B.

Rodgers talked about resting Sterling, he was quiet against Arsenal and we still looked good just lacked cutting edge. Markovic's recent form will make it easier to give Raheem time out of the side over Christmas, Moreno can come in and Markovic could maybe play the role up top he has the pace and direct style.

Not really being as we appear to have given up on our other attackers (and for what its worth Borini is suspended).

I remember saying at the start of the season that he needs to be more direct and stop shying away; we are seeing signs that his confidence is gradually growing and he's willing to try more. That ability which we could see at the start is beginning to show and he was boss at times yesterday.

But isn't that because they were all identified before Suarez decided to leave, so they WERE all squad additions/ones for the future? Except Leven
He sees passes very early and is pretty creative in finding his man - little flips over people or sublime balls around the corner. He's gonna be great.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
We'll probably see the best out of Markovic, Manquillo & Moreno next season. All of them have ability just maybe lacking experience in a high tempo, physical league like the premier.

Last summer's transfer window was far from the disaster a lot of people were saying it was until recently.
We failed on Lovren, Balotelli and Lambert (which partly explains why this season has been so weird - centre back and striker are two of the most important positions in any football team).
The other 6 players we signed all look very good players to me

To be fair we are half way through the season and Can, Markovic, Manquillo & Moreno look very promising.. Can for me being the most advanced out of them, really like him as a player. I think we'll see the best of the others next season. All of them been used sparingly, so hard to say they've been a big hit 'yet'. That may very well change by the end of the season.
Balotelli, Lovren & Lambert have looked fairly poor signings to say the least. The only one that has really kicked on and looks a great signing is Lallana. Fantastic ability that had an injury at the start of the season so hampered him a bit. I think most of us were disappointed because we thought we were going to get established quality that would hit the ground running....that just didn't happen unfortunately.
