Yup looking at the predictions I'd put in the likes of Newcastle and Palace as draws at home are certainly winnable.

It's going to be tough not in the least due to there being 4 other teams in the running along with us for 2 spots.

We are only four off fourth, I think it will take less than 72 poins this season, there are so many teams fighting, today we've got a chance similar Arsenal, Spurs and Southampton. After the Southampton game that could easily change though Every game gets bigger than the last now.
      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I'd also lump United into that group. They have more points on the board but all 4 teams in the chasing pack have better form.

5 teams are chasing 2 spots imo us, Mancs, arsenal, Spurs and Southampton. Next weekend is going to be a big game for us as we need to pull those points back from Southampton as soon as we can.

Not done any predictions but I think we'll just miss out on top 4. It's so tough with three teams to overhaul.

We'll come 5th. We've been absolutely ****ing atrocious for a lot of the season so I guess we can't complain.

4 points from our next two games and that would give us a real shot in the arm.

Next two games will give a good indication of where we stand in regards a top 4 finish. Shame the City game didn't coincide with Yaya still being at the African Nations Cup; he's been a big loss for City

stating the bloody obvious, our ability to ensure we get maximum points rather than only getting a draw will be crucial.

another major factor is if the other teams around us can help us out and drop a few points against some of the 'lesser teams'
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

As it currently stands I don't think the number of teams ahead of us is as problematic as it could be - we are all so close that nobody can afford to slip up. If we were, say, 6 points worse off then we'd be looking at a deficit of 10 points to 4th with 3 teams at least 7 points better off, and that would be a right pain in the arse to wait for 3 teams **** up to let us in (i'm discounting West Ham as a top four contender in this scenario).

I'm more worried about the Euro games throwing a spanner in the works vis-a-vis fatigue and injuries. Luckily Spurs And Arsenal are still in Europe so can potentially incur some headaches that will adversely affect the league campaign.

                          We will finish 3rd

Considering the players we now have. Considering how a major overhaul is not required. Considering how getting in the champions league didn't help our signings. Does it matter if we get 5th rather than 4th? I hate 4th place, celebrating something that normally isn't good enough for a podium pisses me off. **** 4th, I want second.

If offered now would people consider 5th and the FA Cup a success?

No, getting the CL this year is massive with the new tv deal kicking in. I'd much rather take the chance with 2 entry routes still open to us.
