I'd go unchanged with Moreno in place of Johnson if the transfer goes through. I'd have a preference for Sakho over Skrtel but the Skrtel-Lovren partnership has had a match under its belt and done well, so I guess you'd have to keep it.

Would be crazy to drop Johnson and go into the match with 3 new defenders. Can't see Moreno coming straight in for Southampton, but if he does it will be for Manquillo.

Johnson at right back gets the nod due to experience, and i'd prob go with Enrique at left back, even if we sign moreno


leaves one centre mid spot with can/allen/lucas in contention - out of the three, i'd stick my neck out and go for Allen

really? i'm not sure

he looked decent enough for his first game, but he's only been here a week, it was only a pre-season friendly against a poorish dortmund, and he's still a rookie. He's only got 6 first team games to his name

I think it will be exactly the same team. And I'm happy enough with that. Plenty of competition in the squad (bar striker) and we're looking good.

Johnson has been poor at RB in the few friendlies he's played in & did very well at LB so why not continue with the same back 4?

Can will get better with time & with more games under his belt. Who impressed you enough to dethrone him from the starting X1? No one did for me. Allen? Lucas? Surely not Lucas? Can to start for me.
