Brendan obviously sees something in Johnson, and he knows a lot more about football than me. Still, I can't say I understand what he's supposed to bring to the team. Every game he plays he looks more of a liability, and while the squad has improved he's remained pretty consistently dreadful. If he starts against City, I hope he proves me spectacularly wrong.

I totally agree about the hoping to be proven wrong IF he starts. But I hope he doesn't dislodge Manquillo.

But as per Casemore, Allen in for Can. I'd prefer the latter from the seconds I've seen of him, but read somewhere he wasn't quite fit. Plus it's possibly a bit soon for him
