He got in Migs way for the second goal and went with his foot for a ball that was head high. That's it though.

Johnson was solid. Our issues were mainly on the left and central defence, as highlighted by Neville tonight.
      Are we winning?

Moreno will be sat in the dressing room thinking - WTF happened out there tonight!
Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

            This.

As Carra and Neville said though the amount of space between CBs or Lovren and Moreno is something that can be worked on fairly straightforwardly with videos etc. Hopefully this is something that Brendan will work on in training. I just hope he actually does do it and eliminate individual errors. It is a new back line so we should cut them some slack for now imo.

It was interesting looking at the width down our flanks attacking wise. I'm not going to even bother mentioning Johnson on the right - but I think that on the left we had the potential with Moreno and especially when Markovic came on to use the width of the pitch. Coutinho always seemed to come inside rather than pass to Moreno who did bomb on. Allen was the only one who spotted the potential - it was like we didn't know how to use Moreno and later Markovic.

Also Sturridge looked better with a partner.

We have to get the defence sorted though as an absolute priority. Spurs have got their tails up and if we defend like that the result will be the same.

Get Carra back as defensive coach.

FFS he wasn't our worst player today so unless you've got an agenda against him, your comment didn't make any sense.

Thought he was ****e tbf, skipping over challenges, low passing success rate, allowing city to regroup before his brain can process a pass. We need better at this level.

He's not been at his best for some time but he's far from being a liability. Certainly not today.

I never said he played bad tonight, check the post in match thread

EDIT: Didn't do anything wrong really but didn't do anything right. Could have had a cuppa and wouldn't have been missed.

the best side to his game seems to have taken a weird u turn. 2 poor seasons now... hopefully not a third on the way.

I'd be inclined to blood or new RB, can see where Rodgers is coming from, we need some experience in a pretty much brand new back four, but GJ just does not cut it for me anymore. Injured again now anyway.

Oh for a Carra in that back four.
