Just a passenger defensively. He is completely reliant on the mobility of Hendo & Allen buzzing around and closing the spaces.

      We had decent chances too.
Never said we didn't have some good chances, just think any inference the difference was down to them being clinical and us not would miss the point. Theirs didn't require as much from the finish as ours. Largely as our creativity met stiff resistance whilst we gave them gifts.

Wasn't impressed with his set pieces either.
I'm glad I'm not the manager but it were up to me I'd drop Gerrard next week and play Can, Hendo and Allen in midfield. If our defence is this wank we need all the defensive cover we can get.

We need another midfielder in IMO.

I hope we sign a better keeper than Mignolet. I don't think he's very good.
To answer your question, no your not mate as I'm with you 100%. He's crap & I called it before the match.

Nigey predicted he'd start at RB so kudos to him but I predicted he'd stink so kudos to me.

I thought Henderson cost us a lot tonight, two decent chances and he wanted a second touch both times when it really wasn't needed.

When we play with one up away from home we have to be more solid and not make basic mistakes like that. For 40 minutes we held our own and should have got to half time at 0-0.
              Are we winning?

Yep, a must. Skrtel and Lovren will never work. Look at the second goal, Lovren wants to defend going forward so goes out, Skrtel wants to defend going backwards so goes back. It's not that one's right or wrong but it's never going to be a partnership. If Skrtel (and Glen) had pushed up, the City players would have been offside. If Lovren had stayed or gone back then he could have stopped it. Instead we end up with 1 centre back doing one thing and the other doing something else and one about 6-7 yards further forward than the other. The two similar ones should play together and thats Sakho and Lovren.

He does it so often where he either gets caught out of position or just fouls the opponent in a dangerous area.

Lovren was definitely a concern considering he was signed to be the 'leader' figure. I know it's just one game, but it's worrying.

Coutinho hasn't had a great game again. Will need to look into other options for the next game too.

I can't pick out one liverpool player who had a good game tonight. We will be much better next week.

Allen? He's definitely the pick of the bunch.

His sloppy clearance caused the first goal.

I'm guessing that I'm the only one that didn't think we were actually that bad tonight. I thought we bossed the first 40 minutes, then a mistake cost us a goal. We came out again and played well, another mistake and a scuffed effort and it was 2.

Then we let Aguero go for the third.

Yeah we lacked a bit in the final third, but the 3-1 scoreline makes it look much worse than we actually were. Obviously its gutting to lose, but I'm not too disheartened, and hopefully it will kick us on now to go and win again at the weekend.

Balotelli will help take the burden off Sturridge, as good as he is he doesn't play the lone striker role effectively. He needs someone to work off. I'm confident that we'll go to Spurs and get a result at the weekend.

Pick of a very bad bunch.

Thought Allen and Sterling played well. Moreno also had a decent debut - apart from the obvious mistake.
                                Another MASSIVE game
