Basel are not Real Madrid or Barcelona mate. In my book we are the favourites and I'm expecting a result. They'll look to attack but if anything, that plays right into our hands as ten men behind the ball is where we struggle.

I also saw enough against Everton to suggest we can get a clean sheet. We're slowLy starting to get our act together. Not be long before we're flying again.

I wonder if we'll give Sturridge until after the International break to fully recover. As for Sakho, I'd imagine that's a bollocking for letting down the group during the project. I'd stick with the same team we played against Everton, including Markovic - the pace of the European football might allow for him to get some time on the ball and build his confidence.

I don't think Sturridge will feature againgst West Brom, that way we can legitimately pull him out of the England Squad. If he plays against the baggies he will join up with the national team.
