    Premier League
    Liverpool V West Brom - Sat 4 Oct 15:00

    Premier League
    QPR V Liverpool - Sun 19 Oct 13:30

    Champions League - Group B

    League Cup - Fourth Round

I want to see at least 7 out 9 points in the league, three points against Basel and tbh I don't really care about the cup just play the youngsters and hope for the best.

I take it there's an international break on weekend of 10th October. Hopefully no one will get injured in that period! League games look winnable though and was pleased with the performance on Saturday if not the result.

need 9 out of 9 points in the league.

In reality we should have a few more points in our total but if we win the next 3 league games then we should be back in business. We are lucky that neither Arsenal, United, Tottenham have not made a killer start to the league either....

To be honest, we need to just get our season going. I think we can forget about winning the league but a good run in the CL, perhaps one of the cups and another top 4 finish would be a good season.

On that performance we should be able to get a result against West Brom. I'd take a draw against Basel if that meant a win against West Brom - we really need to put together a run in the league.

Just looking at the Table,we have lost 3 games, scored 8 and conceded 9.On paper WBA,QPR &HULL should be 9 points but i think these games might spring a few surprises & in between a possible Thrashing from Real Madrid, would love to have played Real with last seasons LFC team

I'll take a top four finish now tbh and settle for that along with reaching the knock out stage of the CL.

That run of games is made tougher given the lack of down time, especially between the games after the international break.

The QPR, Real and Hull run between Sunday and Saturday is not nice seeing as there will be travel time to and from Madrid to factor into things.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness

Isn't it at home though? We travel to Swiss now.

For some reason I thought the away game against Real was our next CL game after the Basel game.

Well that gives us a little bit more down time that I thought then.

Still, the QPR game is straight after the international break, so count Sturridge out of that one.

I suspect Sturridge won't be rushed into coming back for that reason. I think the club will seek to get him right, which means he'll miss the next batch of international matches, but also means that he's unlikely to feature for us until that is gone.
                      Are we winning?

Do England have a qualifier or a friendly? If it's the latter he should be excused from it.
