Tbh, I'm not sure it's totally the system at fault. But the players we want on the ball aren't doing anything with it and are losing their duels. Basically the two teams are playing the same formations and they're cancelling each other out.

Whilst the NUFC attackers get it and have a go, Sterling and Coutinho get it and do nothing with it and constantly lose the ball at the first time of asking. Needs to improve. We have better players supposedly and should be doing more with it.

I wouldn't necessarily change it, they're at home and the impetus is on them as much it is us. We're looking solid and when you're not scoring goals that's what you need. I'd just be telling the players to come out and perform better.

all of the top teams in the last 20 years have had one way of playing football. Teams that change tactics like we do in between games just doesnt work. With rodgers though, it is worse - because Stevie ****in Wonder could see that the diamond formation is where we are most effective, and also that we aren't a good enough team defensively (either individually or as a unit) to ensure that we keep a clean sheet.

BR should now hook off either Allen or Henderson (my preference would be Allen) and bring on Borini. Play Sterling in the free role behind the two strikers.....tell Borini to come in from the right in a counter attacking situation and let Coutinho drop deep and have the movement of Sterling, Borini and Balotelli to choose from when we counter attack.....

Rodgers started his LFC career in a hit and miss fashion, and eventually found the formation that works for his team and also allows him to play Gerrard in DM (that is a whole different argument, but it was a BR objective to keep SG in the team)......then why the **** has he messed with the winning system. The same system that left us a cunt-hair away from a premier league ****in title.....then why is he trying to pretend he is Pep Guardi-****in-ola and reinvent football.....

if he brings on Lallana for Coutinho and keeps the same formation, then i'm ****in finished with Rodgers...

Better at the back since we switched to a mix of zonal and man marking. The actual defence go zonal and the midfield pick players up. As for attacking, less said the better.

I though we were defensively excellent and much more organised especially at defending corners which many on here have been calling for, need to do much more in their third yes but we'll see what happens in the second half.

Completely different system he's using today switching to back 3 then 4 without possession. Players still look clueless though.... No attacking threat that entire first half.
