coaches / managers can wax lyrical about systems but at the end of the day it comes down to good players. we have lost one and the other is made of glass.Originally posted by Venton View PostI'm beginning to lose faith in Rodgers' system here. It's either beyond them and they're suddenly all **** or it just isn't working.

Trying to shore things up at the back & hoping we can get a chance with long balls over their full backs. Playing not to lose

I think I need to be told for a 63rd time that this fixture has produced more goals than any other in the PL and that Ameobi scored 7 seconds after coming on last week before both stats sink in.
Dreadful 45 minutes. Completely devoid of any quality. Bar the clearance GJ has been his usual lazy self. Colocini is the most ghastly example of a hoofballer ever. Taylor getting booked for being a childish dick is rather funny and whoever their number 7 is seems to be getting away, without comment, with far worse offences in the penalty area during a corner than Skrtel,

Get Johnson off, get Allen off and get some support up front for Balotelli and up the tempo, this is atrocious

Completely different system he's using today switching to back 3 then 4 without possession. Players still look clueless though.... No attacking threat that entire first half.

I don't understand what is going on. Even Burnley look more of a threat than us. Poor old Mario isn't even feeding off scraps, its a ****ing famine. The whole defence and midfield is apalling. I don't see how this gets turned round any time soon.

The way we are set up to to negate & likes of Sterling & Coutinho are non existent in this formation.

Nil, nil at half time. Plenty of room for improvement, no more so than in the final third, but we're clearly working on a new way to be more resolute.
We're not over-run in midfield, we don't look out-numbered at the back but sweet Jebus we panic when the ball is in our penalty box. The team has put a shift in but we've stifled Coutinho and Sterling and as such, we look toothless.

Dire...again. The lack of improvement is the most worrisome. There's just not enough movement.

That was utter turd. We're playing like a **** bottom 6 club.
**** all movement up front or in midfield.
