Sorry, went off on one. The answer to your first question is simply yes.

I've said it in the Arsenal thread and I'll say it now. We lost a Suarez, Arsenal gained a Suarez. Arsenal also have a better goalie, defence and midfield than us with which they will end the season strongly. On what planet are we going to finish above Arsenal? Only 4th spot is achievable for us this season. Drop points against Leicester (i.e. pick Gerrard in DM from the start) and its a-sackin'-time.
I've been highly critical of Rodgers, but he has been making changes in the last two games so I'd hold on sacking him based on the Leicester game. I can't fathom why it took him so long to see the obvious and make some changes, i.e. Lovren and Gerrard mainly, but, at least to me, he has bought himself some time by making the changes.

i reckon he has been reading the forums for a few pointers. then he goes and makes the obvious changes and all of a sudden he is a footballing genius

If he's been reading LFC forums recently I'd be surprised if he isn't on high doses of anti-depressants

It's weird, this game has come around so quick. It really doesn't feel like we've got a game on tonight at all.

It's on tomorrow, no? Or have I gone mad?

It gets worse though. Tomorrow night is my wedding anniversary and we're going out so I've just realised I'm going to miss the match!

Don't get me wrong, I love Rodgers' tactics and style of play. And I don't want him sacked. You can't fault a manager if he's struggling to understand why a team is doing badly, but when its plain (i.e. Kolo/Lucas on the bench) then sympathy ebbs quickly.

Out of all the managers we've had Rodgers adapts the quickest. But, if after finally getting it right, he reverts to getting it (exactly the same) wrong again then he's learnt nothing and has bought no time.
                      One tit for another.

Ojo tweeted something about going to Leicester

Last year this would have seemed like a perfect match to test him out, this season it looks more like we need all our top players so that we can perhaps scrape a win... Hopefully we can start turning it around now.

I love the way you know better than a manager of a Premier League team
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

My fave mid three would be Hendo Lucas Can (for Allen) but I'm pretty sure that ain't happening. Lambert also has to play. He's looking better than Ulloa and Pelle now.
What if Lucas is absolutely knackered after Saturday?

Does it matter the 11 we put out as long as we get the result ?

Fierce I don't know better than any football manager. However, the whole world and his wife can see where Rodgers main problem lies this time.

Vonk, good question. He could be knackered, but he was subbed off early against Stoke and provided he wasn't injured could/should be ready to start against Leicester. Gerrard and Sterling have been played much more often for much longer game after game.
