That was a ****in disgraceful refereeing performance.....either he is corrupt or inept. Either way Phil Dowd should be sacked....

I've admittedly been very critical of Mario, but I saw a new side to him tonight. Good work.

All 3 subs did well for us tonight. Really important win that.

Great win, despite a **** ref. Ibe was fantastic, so were škrtel, can, mig, etc.

Great fighting win from the lads!

How did this assembly of utter ****e manage to score two tonight? They were embarassingly awful.

Phil Dowd should drown in his own lard.

I hope that some of our forgotten players might 'come back' mentally after tonight.

Yup. Balo grabbed the plaudits but I thought Lovren did very well too (hardly noticed him since he came on, a good thing for a defender), as did Lallana.

Once they subbed Dembele and Erikson you just knew they would resort to Van Gaal style footy

The race for 4th is certainly getting interesting. One thing for sure is on the basis of that performance it definitely won't be Tottenham.

Balotelli's done himself no favours being the 1st player down the tunnel tonight I'd say. Should have stayed out with his team mates celebrating with the fans. He's a dumbass of the highest order.

Huge, huge win and with all our injuries too. Ibe, Can, Skrtel & Mig were fantastic. The difference in the movement with Sturridge up there was unreal. Have to say, i've rarely seen a ref trying to orchestrate a game so much. It went way was being incompetent..must have had a few quid on it.

Brilliant performance and I reckon if we had of been full strength.. we would have really put them to the sword. I know Balo is a weird dude but going straight down the tunnel when all the boys are celebrating was just weird... or typical Balotelli?

He did well when he came on, fair's fair. Lallana is too good to be sat on the bench like this, he needs more starts.

Massive win, we need momentum to put the ****s up them, Arsenal and Man Utd.

                                Gerrard though, what to do?
