Last person I'd want taking that was Sturridge and Hendo wouldn't be too far ahead of him either. Balotelli the right man for the job but poor show from them all with what went on. Hendo as captain needs to show more leadership there,i think that's what Sturridge was pissed off about.

My guess is Sturridge was told he would be taker at the start, but Mario came on, obviously has a decent record and was in my opinion the best option on the pitch to take it, was the right decision.
