I think Sterlings agent will hold the negotiations for a couple of days...

We haven't played them yet FFS?

Awful way to go out and a gash performance.

We will play them in a few hours mate. Straight after we land and had a little kip.

Anyway, today Rodgers' in game management (which is excellent, I'm a fanboi of his) was non-existent. Its like his mind was elsewhere, probably on Sunday.

For those always wanting to see Balotelli and Sturridge together can put that dream to rest once and for all. There is no BAS.

I'd be the total opposite. Zero focus on this game and all the eggs in the basket for the city game. The league was and still is far and away our best chance of not having this Thursday ****e again next season.

Diabolical performance. As bad as we've played all season.

I agree that this Thursday ****e is pure turd. Might be a blessing in disguise we're out even though that's our backup plan gone.

                    1. Almost the perfect away performance. Besiktas created NOTHING all night. Go on, tell me the great pressure or great saves Mignolet did.

                    2. It wasn't. So in all fairness we next look at the manager. Should've made a change when it was inevitable the ball wasn't sticking in the second half.

                    3. He didn't. So the buck stops there. But what changes could've he have made? I don't know. All out of chips Vegas style. No midfielders.

                    4. We were the better side over the two legs.

                    5. That doesn't matter. But if any prick blames anyone in a shoutout I don't wanna know them.
                    Forwards.......

Rodgers has much to learn about Europe and to continue with two strikers in the 2nd half when they started to dominate us in midfield was madness. He took too long to stiffen up the middle by bringing on Lallana for one of the strikers. Then they scored and it became really difficult to get that control back.

On a positive, no more Thursdays and we'll maybe have half a fresh team on Sunday plus we're at home.

Hope we can start to win some games at the crucial time, we've done well getting to the business end of some competitions, but we keep losing crunch games and ultimately end up winning nothing.

Needs to change soon, we need to show everyone it's a habit we can break and be successful.

Worse thing is, the games we **** up are winnable, ties we could and probably should win.

That was so ****in **** neither of the teams deserved to go through to be honest.

I'm sorry I even watched it. Foul after foul, millions of little throw-ins, diving, atrocious passing, players completely disconnected... S H I T

Another lesson for Rodgers in Europe. Hard to know if it's going in one ear and out t'other. That second half performance was a disgrace.

He wasn't interested enough for it to be even going in one ear.
