Got what we deserved, they were pretty ordinary at best. No complaints except I wish we could have gone out in normal time and saved a bit of energy.

Haven't played well in any European game this season, Rodgers needs to learn for next year as we haven't done ourselves any justice at all

What a ****ing whopper that was. Over the last 3 games we haven't been great & several players have put in some poxy performances.. but this one took the biscuit. I don't think you'll ever see Sturridge,Sterling or Can have such shambolic displays.

Brendan defo shud have made the few changes earlier.. you could see we couldn't retain possession and that they were pushing and pushing. Could see the goal coming. Anyways done and dusted.. we didn't deserve to go through IMO... although they weren't much better over the tie either.

Thought Moreno has great first half and faded in the second/extra time. Lovren and Toure decent first halfs and then ****e afterwards. Skrtel & Mig were excellent. Did think Mig was positioned in a very low stance for the penos ... but sure knit picking.

Wasted opportunity, lots of niggles already, 120 mins played and City in a few days.... not exactly ideal. We looked absolutely exhausted tonight.

Like I said, and was shot down, we were never going to beat City and we should have focused on this match. Not playing Lallana was ridiculous and Rodgers has paid for his brain fart.
