He's also less selfish than Danny, and even when having a relatively poor game got two assists. All be it the assists were simple passes as opposed to defence splitters.
    I thought both were poor

I'd start Danny against Blackburn and bench him for this one. He's not sharp yet and is trying too hard. It's why Rodgers was starting him in the European games, a way to give him minutes without it having an effect on the teams form in the league. People saw it as Rodgers prioritising the Europa Cup, when it was in fact the complete opposite.

He's a good option of the bench, gives him more minutes and can start against the lesser team. A weeks training and I dare say he's in the mix for Swansea.
      Forwards.......

Sturridge should start and Sterling should get a rest. Pointless speculating about formation as I think unless something goes badly wrong then he's settled on 3 at the back till the end of the season.

          -------------Ming-------------
          -----Can Skittles Sakho
          Markovic Hendo Allen Moreno
          --------Lallana Coutinho
          -----------Sturridge-----------

Until Lucas and Ibe are back fit to take the place of Allen and Markovic I think that side with Sterling competing with Lallana should be the team in every league game for the rest of the season.

Sterling had a break in January, was rested in first leg against Besiktas, missed Spurs and Palace through injury, so he shouldn't need a rest.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

But I give him his due when he excels.

In saying that, we were still getting used to our new formation and a lot of players were still low on confidence. That result was massive for us though and we haven't looked back since.
This is true but they've taken a few 2-0 leads and thrown them away this season Burnley, we got pretty lucky against Leicester to be honest 2-2 and they had the better of us I thought. Its not a time to get complacent, this run now feels very similar to what was required last season to me.

I think the crowd should be well up for this one....

It is such a big pity that we don't have, say 5 points more than we currently have. If we did then i wouldn't put a title tilt past us......

If Sakho is fit he has to come straight back in, think it will be something like -
                            Mingolet
                            Can Skrtel Sakho
Sterling Hendo Allen Markovic or Moreno
                            Coutinho Lallana
                            Sturridge.

Maybe, maybe Lovren will play so Can can get a breather (see what I did there.........)

Sturridge and Coutinho both have had a break, Lallana and Allen both much better when playing regularly so Markovic plus either Sterling or Moreno based on who needs a rest the most.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.
