I think today was another big test, we've done well against the big sides but still struggled against the lesser sides at home. I'm fully confident in this side again now, not certain of top 4 but we'll be very close.

Great result in what was tipped as a potential banana skin.

Hendo & Allen are superb in the middle of the park together.

Skrtel talks more than ppl give him credit for.

Overall very pleased and how good was that near goal after only 26 secs? Would have been a contender for goal of the year.

Just Blackburn left & then it's one game a week. Hard mini slog nearly over. Think the players have put a lot of effort in and should be really commended for some hard running after minimal rest.

Tonight was as easy as it gets really, hardly any dodgy moments and I think we got the goals at the right times to keep tension to a minimum. Delighted that we are not just falling over & getting lucky results, instead they've been deserved and that bodes well for a strong finish.

Sturridge looked instantly better after his goal too. Gone were the heavy touches, gone was the over elaboration.

Commentators were bagging the pitch again tonight. 3 games in a week at this stage of the season wouldn't please the ground staff.

Very good performance all round, we're on the charge. Shame nobody around us dropped points.

Credit to the players as well, Everton were in a similar situation to us early December but our lads have knuckled down and backed the manager, playing in a completely new formation. Them lot didn't, they seemed split and I think our team spirit has gone a long way to getting us back on track.

credit to Mignolet, great to see him commanding his area so much better, loved seeing him charge out and nut their player.

yep. other players will see that and know he isnt as timid as he once was. good to see the new mind meld has worked.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Did you all watch that on streams? I tried a few but they're ****ing awful! I just finished watching the extended highlights, but you really can't get a feel for a match from them, even if they are "extended"

Great goals though. Danny's header was Torres-esque.

For all the negatives Sopcast got in the build up it performed admirably. No buffering at all, though it was in some strange language.

Excellent result and performance. So glad to see no drop in quality after such an amazing run of games. And thank God Sturridge is getting better and better.
